Sunny Memories

Come see Sunny Memories at The Laboratory at Harvard, on through November 6th, with the opening reception on Friday, October 29th.

Sunny Memories is a large-scale international workshop created to innovate around a new generation of ‘dye-sensitized’ solar cells, inspired by plant photosynthesis. More than 80 students from four top-level design schools in the US, France, Britain and Switzerland, came up with a huge variety of ideas.

10/25 – 11/6 : Ongoing Exhibition at The LAB

10/29 at 6:30PM:  Public Celebration featuring a delegation of leading representatives of the Swiss Science and Research Institutes and Harvard faculty.

Exhibition and celebration are free and open to the public.

October 29th Celebration Keynote Speakers:

Didier Burkhalter, Swiss Federal Councilor, Head of the Federal Department of Home Affairs (Swiss Minister of the Interior)
Nicolas Henchoz, Director-Founder of the EPFL+ECAL Lab
Dan Schrag, Sturgis Hooper Professor of Geology at Harvard University

Moderated by Christoph Reinhart, Department of Architecture coordinator for the GSD’s Sustainable Design concentration area and head of the GSD-Squared research initiative.
